The Cook Baker is responsible for the timely preparation and production of all bakery items.  Additionally, the Cook Baker is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the bakeshop and associated areas.

Incumbent shall assist the Chief Cook and other Steward Division personnel in the efficient operation of the galley/kitchen and shall perform related duties as assigned.  Incumbent will prepare all bakery items in accordance with the Chief Steward/Steward Cook’s approved menu utilizing approved recipes.  Incumbent
will requisition required items for daily preparation of bakery items.  Assist in taking inventory of galley/kitchen equipment and utensils; report to the Chief Cook any necessary repairs and replacements of baking equipment and utensils; adhere to all principles of safety; and report any accidents immediately.  Adhere to all sanitation procedures and personal hygiene standards.  Ensure continuing application of & compliance w/EEO laws, regulations and policies.  Exhibit computer literacy by efficiently interacting with applicable software related programs.
