The Medical Services Officer performs a variety of administrative, patient care, and department head functions pertaining to the complete operation of a shipboard medical department, including medical care, occupational health and preventive medicine, fiscal and supply operations, crew training, pest control, sanitation, and database entries.
MMD/MMC Requirements
Entry-level endorsement and Certificate of Registry (COR) as Independent Duty Corpsman, Physician’s Assistant, or Registered Nurse.
