Unlicensed Junior Engineers stand engine room watch, assist licensed engineers with control room operations and maintain the shipboard propulsion equipment and auxiliary machinery on all classes of MSC civil service crewed ships.
MMD/MMC Requirements
Unlicensed Junior Engineer or qualified member of the engine department of any unlicensed rating in the engine department and STCW 95 certification for Ratings Forming Part of the Engineering Watch (RFPEW).
