Military Sealift Command (MSC) is the ocean transportation provider for the Department of Defense with the responsibility of providing strategic sealift and ocean transportation for all military forces overseas. MSC CIVMARs replenish Navy ships at sea with the food, fuel, ammunition and other goods to keep them at peak readiness.
